it was about 80 degrees today, and so the kids and i were out washing the car and soaking up the sun...kinda confused about the season!

holidays

I am a little late putting out pics, but here are a few none the less...

The kids and I made Christmas cookies in our santa chef suits, and then delivered them via gator ride through the neighborhood. We decided that this is our first annual tradition. We strapped Kindle in and delivered the goods all the while enjoying the neighborhood lights!!!













Before Christmas Kit and I took Carson to Sea World in San Antonio and stayed on the Riverwalk and went to the Rainforest Cafe'. We had a great time with just Carson! Kindle stayed at grandma's and papa's. She also had a great time!

We saw a cool 3d show about pirates!


Carson was so proud that he was tall enough to ride this ride-and yes, we were the only ones who were willing to freeze (it was a water ride in December!)

dedication day

This is the day that we dedicated our children (actually ourselves) to raise them in the nurture and admonition of the Lord ...It was more for us as parents than for the kids-stay strong. We love our church...

can't help but love my little girl!!!

I thank the Lord for my children everyday!

catch up!

wow-we have been sick the last 2 months! from umbilical hernia to stomach flu to pink eye to double ear infections to fevers-yikes I have been out of it! here is a quick preview starting with Thanksgiving at home by ourselves due to the stomach bug! first I will start with 10 of the 100 list I never did from Denee's tag:

1. I don't feel like I am 28 (only when my knees hurt, then I do)
2. I love to travel, and want to go to Tahiti
3. snowboarding over skiing
4. my favorite season of the year is when the season starts to change (like the first cold front or the first sunny day of spring)
5. my favorite smell is fresh cut grass and sun tan lotion
6. favorite color is yellow
7. I can never get the last corner of the sheets on the bed
8. pet peeve is when I don't get a wave after you let someone in front of you in traffic
9. I craved icing on cakes and cookies during pregnancy
10. I love friday night movie dates (all to few though)

Dewberry Farm

Today the kids, grandma, and papa and I all went to Dewberry Farms! It is the coolest place! they have a hayride to the pumpkin patch, go-carts, a huge jumpy balloon, skits, petting zoo, corn ride and much, MUCH more. The moms group all went, and we had a blast! here are a few pics!

Brother's Surprise 30th!

the party was at the kerbel farm in cleburne, and we set up all the decor on the party porch!


shelly made the cake and we ordered 'real man of genius' m&m's-theme of the party with the video including the bud light 'real men of genius' commercials to pics of matt-hilarious

there were a total of about 50 people! and no one got lost-amazing!

carson as a pirate, the guys/party went down into the hay field to shoot targets and skeet with their cool guns while the girls prepared dinner.
