Ephesians 6 "Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and admonition (instruction) of the Lord"
The importance of loving discipline to turn sinners into saints. My favorite quote from JM "It's not what you do to your children to make them go astray, it's what you don't do".

Parents...Our greatest calling!
This is a 10 minute short clip for parents and children. This started my morning out right! As a reminder to me how important our work is with our children, and how important it is to have our roles right in the home. Please listen and be encouraged!!

welp, guess that's it for summer 2010-1st day of 1st grade!
My kid on the 1st day of 1st grade! This is big time! He has several friends from last year in his class, so I think it's going to be a great year!
Here we go again!
YESSSSSS!
Not sure about the pose here-told him to keep his wrists firm-he said this is how they do it in the movies (he wants to be an actor- not sure about that either:)!
He's looking bigger!
Last year's pic's starting Kindergarten!!! I guess I need the same pose every year:)
I think he has grown a bit...
Comparison...what a difference a year makes!

summer 2010
Whew! we made it to summer, and are loving every bit of it!! I'm enjoying not having the 'mad rush out the door' crazy mornings that the school year brings. Carson made some really good friends this year at school and is reading like crazy (finally:). Kindle had her recital and took 2 rounds of swimming lessons this summer and she is starting to get the hang of it! We made it to a Rangers game and saw awesome fireworks, had fun on the boat, went to our first bombers game, enjoyed fireworks there as well as tonight on top of the roof of MAYS business school (so fun!), soaking up the sun and chillaxing with family and friends! I LOVE SUMMER. some pics for all:
HAPPY 4TH of JULY!!!!!!

Carson Hittin' Big!
Coach pitch is so much fun! Carson LOVES hitting the ball, here is an exmple...I keep forgetting my camera so this is off Kit's phone (wow how times have changed, used to have to carry a 'boombox' on our shoulder to video). Anyhow, the girl on 3rd base cracks me up, I have watched it over and over just to see her pout-funny!

Easter 2010
I really got on here to blog about Carson's 1st t-ball game tonight, but uploaded all the 650 pictures from Easter, and decided blog about Easter first! We had a great time at the farm this year here are a few of the MANY pics that were taken:
Kindle playing house in her playhouse:)
Carson joining-he's actually going to get the skittles...
All I have to say is I can't keep up with this boy's pants!!!
Sam and Kit's cousin's
Don't they look alike? Brother Matt and Av
Sweet Randi and Kinna
That's all American right there-look at the flag in the window:
Does this look like a friendly bunny? The kids didn't think so either...hehe
Carson found the golden egg. He was so sweet, he gave it to his teacher. He came into our room the morning of giving it to her (the student teacher's last day) and told us he "was giving it to her because the best way to not have a love for money is to give it away." This was his prize possession, so sweet.
Anybody looking?
Here's the crowd!
I'll have to blog more tomorrow about carson's ball game, here's a pic preview:)
Kindle and bff at opening ceremonies:
Carson can't wait for coach pitch next week!yay:)
